Welcome and thank you for visiting ModestyRocks.com. I created this website to address the issue of modesty in dress that seams to have been forgotten by most people. I am a Christian so this will be viewed at from a biblical perspective. I find the "confusion" of proper clothing more prevailing when people are near water or participating in water based activities. This site will cover modesty in everyday life as well as extra information put into sports especially water sports because once water sports modesty is understood the other sports will fall into place. It won’t be easy for you or me but it is not right for Christians to back away from something as beautiful as water because of everyone else’s form of dress. In Isaiah 59:19 it states “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety...........

I hope that in reading the information in this site that the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard, in you, against the flood of immodesty that the enemy has thrown upon us.

I will first start by having sports clubs in which I will put together information on current policy’s of common places to swim and participate in other common activities and how most if not all will understand and make exceptions because of your convictions. It is no where nearing complete yet but I will be adding to it often so keep checking back.
